UHPC Annual Dinner 2017

A good time was had by all once again at the UHPC annual dinner at the Templeton Hotel, Templepatrick on Friday 7th April.

Good food, drink and conversation meant that the last of the stragglers did not leave until around midnight.

In the end 24 attended and since this included some wives/partners it was a bit disappointing that out of a club membership of around 60 we did not have more who were free to come along. Maybe next time.

Many thanks due to Eveleen McMaster for once again organising the whole thing and putting up with the frustrations of chasing people up.

The UHPC annual reserve parachute repack night - FREE for all UHPC members - was held at the Antrim Forum on Thursday the 23rd February 2017 from 6pm to 10pm.

Many thanks and appreciation to the outgoing committee for all their hard work during the year involving detailed negotiations in relation to airspace restrictions and wind farm developments in particular.

Arrangements are at a very advanced stage for access to Divis Mountain and the Belfast Hills - see airspace information above. We are asking everyone to stay away until all arrangements are in place and tested. Full details of ATC arrangements are on the Latest News page above and further information will be passed to members when access is finalised with the National Trust and the sites have been evaluated.
