Road Access – From Belfast (A8) take first exit off first roundabout after the Ballymena Rd junction; turn right at T junction on to B148 (Ballymullock Rd); take first left (Mullaghsandal Rd). Past standing stone (on left) Skeagh comes into view straight ahead across valley. Park on grass verge on next crest about 100m past access gate (on left).
Parking – In the small lay-by on the access road. Do not obstruct traffic for any reason.
Site Access – ALWAYS use the gate a few yards to the SE of the parking spot. Do not climb the stone wall as it is fragile and there is risk of injury to both the wall and the climber. There is also a strand of barbed wire on the hill side of the wall.
Hazards – Barbed wire fence obstructing flight paths south, south-east, and east. High voltage power lines on poles across the west and south-west slopes, making them unusable. Also to be avoided if on a NNW flight path.
Proximity of the main road must be considered when flying the NE aspect. Barbed wire fence goes around the southerly aspect of the hill. A few narrow overgrown but shallow drainage ditches run diagonally across the NW, N and NE slopes.

Bottom Landing Zone – Many, depending on wind direction
